Singapore – The Singapore Sports Council has settled on a panel of creative agencies involving Publicis and few others for the tender it put out earlier in April this year.

Sharon Kam, senior director of Strategic Marketing, Singapore Sports Council told Marketing that the tender has been awarded in two categories.

Publicis Singapore has been appointed as its Category 1 agency, in charge of developing and implement a through-the-line marketing communications strategy to meet SSC’s campaigns, event and product objectives.

In addition, it will provide a full suite of services including planning, digital solutions, activation, research and monitoring services.

Under Category 2, four other agencies have been appointed: Coal Creative Consultants, I.M. Communications, Splash Productions, and Tilt. These agencies will conceptualise above-the-line marketing as well as design and production of below-the-line marketing collaterals.

Previous agencies for SSC’s account were Leo Burnett for Category 1 and Xodbox in Category 2.

The SSC also appointed TBWA and Tilt as creative agencies and Fulford Public Relations as PR agency for the StanChart Marathon Singapore 2011, following a separate pitch.
