THE WHOLE IS GREATER THAN THE SUM OF ITS PARTS
The cover design depicts the multiple facets of HSA, laid out like the parts of a model plane before it is assembled. On its own, each part is what it is i.e. a cog in a machine with limited effectiveness and impact. Collectively though, the parts come together to create a whole that is far greater than the sum of its parts – with a mandate to safeguard the health and wellbeing of Singaporeans every second, every day.
To break it down: HSA is at work 60 seconds X 60 minutes X 24 hours X 365 days. It is a never-ending challenge that commands meticulous attention to detail and danger.
The circular motif depicts HSA’s 360-degree outlook and coverage as it goes about its challenge. The headline on the front cover summarizes the essence of HSA: The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (365 days)
For creative synergy, both the model plane concept and circular motif will be used throughout the Annual Report, with some customisation to match the sections of the annual report.
