Sharon Kam, senior director of Strategic Marketing, Singapore Sports Council told Marketing that the tender has been awarded in two categories. Publicis Singapore has been appointed as its Category 1 agency, in charge of developing and implement a through-the-line marketing communications strategy to meet SSC’s campaigns, event and product objectives. In addition, it will provide a full suite of services including planning, digital solutions, activation, research and monitoring services.
In the space of 12 days, we managed to complete a tremendous amount of work for our clients, including Master Creative, talent sourcing, 3 days of photoshoots, logo and more than 25 artworks. It is without a doubt that as we have our in-house copywriter, designers, photographer and account servicing personnel, are we then able to complete the work. Of course, having an understanding and good client like NTUC U Sports is a must as well. They had worked with us through the weekends, rushing the designs for approval and coming back to us with precise changes. This resulted in a win-win situation for both parties. “Wow!
Singapore – The Singapore Sports Council has appointed TBWA and Tilt as creative agencies and Fulford Public Relations as PR agency for the StanChart Marathon Singapore 2011 (SCMS), following a pitch. The pitch was called in February this year. According to SSC, TBWA Singapore will be tasked to develop the master creative concept for the SCMS 2011, while Tilt will be performing the creative adaptations based on the concept provided by the former. Meanwhile, SSC has re-appointed Fulford Public Relations as its PR agency for this year’s marathon. This mark’s Fulford PR’s fifth consecutive year with the event, the pitch for which was called last month. “We’re very excited to be given the opportunity to work on this account for the fifth year. Our appointment has strongly demonstrated our knowledge in the market, and we’re confident that we’ll continue to grow,” Linda Fulford, managing director of Fulford Public Relations, said. Spanning an eight-month period, Fulford PR will be responsible for driving interest and promoting the event to the public through both mainstream and social media initiatives, including the pre-existing Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore Facebook page. This high-profile win comes close after Fulford PR was appointed Agency Of Record for a 43-month period for the Singapore SportsHub. The SSC first organised the marathon with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) as the title sponsor, last year. It is a huge sponsored event for Standard Chartered Bank(SCB), with SCB’s regional chief executive Ray Ferguson revealing it has a budget of SGD 10 million committed ...

This kindness message is what TILT had said, in support of Project Singa 2010 : Kindness in the Lion City. With the support of the Singapore Kindness Movement, local toy design company, Play Imaginative spearheaded the project together with several partners. TILT is one of the sponsor partners amongst other brands such as 100PLUS, Asia Pacific Breweries, Courts and F&N amongst others. Through the years, TILT had been very conscious of our corporate social responsibility. We had been assisting Singapore Disability Sports Council for the past 4 years in their works. This year, we have taken it a step further by participating in Project Singa. All these through one area which we love – Design Matters. We had always believe that design matters! In our own similar fashion, we had also assisted Project Singa to develop the first cut of the event website. If there is anyone out there who is interested in spreading this act of kindness, and wish to have a TILT Singa Lion Trexi, feel free to drop us a note at enquiry@tilt.com.sg to request for it. Last but not least, a little kindness from everyone will change your perspective of how the world is like! Singa
